On October 7, The Migrant Club participated in the Adopt a Highway clean up project.

“It is  our responsibility to be able to provide the man made assistance by conducting a cleanup activity, and also give the members a self credit feeling knowing that they have helped our city to be a more attractive and safer environment,” the migrant club councilor , Mr. Garcia said.

Students of the Migrant club not only gained volunteer hours but also satisfaction knowing they helped the community.

“I felt satisfied because it is an amazing experience knowing that me and my partners were doing something helpful for the community and also demonstrating a great spirit in the society,”  senior, Daisy Cantu said.

This project might not be a big major clean up activity, but for sure it can make a big impact for the people in the environment.

“It was an activity to do a little clean up in the city for a better environment and try to make a positive change in our community,” senior, Alejandra  Hernandez said.
