Loading ...After practicing after school for a month to prepare for the show, the JV Choir, Varsity Mixed, Musical Theater and Barrientes Middle School Choir performed their Fall Concert last week.
“We worked very hard and stayed almost every day to practice our songs,” junior Victoria Ramirez said.
Some of the songs performed were “Bring Me Little Water Sylvie, La Paloma, and Viva”.
“The toughest song to sing was “Bring Me Little Water Sylvie” because we also had a little clap move, and it was a bit tricky,” junior Mylee Marroquin said.
Despite the movements to the song, both choir and audience members had a great experience.
“My overall experience was great,” Ramirez said. “I had so much fun with the choir.”
Parents in the audience also enjoyed the concert.
“I felt so much joy when parents came up to me to tell me they loved the concert”, Choir Director Ms. Astudillo said.
