Sophomore Sylvia Reyna will be traveling to Washington, D.C. in the summer to attend the annual U.S. Congressional Art Awards Ceremony.
Reyna won 1st place at the contest held in mid April by Congressman Vicente Gonzalez.
Reyna’s awards include the trip to Washington, art displayed for a year and a scholarship to Savannah College of Art and Design.
Reyna is a first year art student under the direction of Ms. Beatriz Guzman Velasquez.
