On December 18, a Christmas luncheon took place for the custodial staff on campus. This event was sponsored by both the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society.

“The custodians do a lot for us, and the kids tried to pay them back,” SNHS Sponsor, Mrs.Guerra.

Besides providing a meal for the custodial staff, students collected treats from teachers to fill up stockings for each of them. They also created a festive environment with Christmas decor. Officers from both clubs also showed their appreciation by giving speeches as the luncheon progressed.

“It was my first year participating, and it was an honor to have taken part in the decorating and putting up a Christmas tree for them,” junior Meydelin Alvarez said.
