The band was the only high school in Edinburg to place in the top ten at the Band’s of America (BOA) competition at the Veteran’s Memorial Stadium on September 22nd.

“We placed 10th at finals,” Head Band Director Jason Rogers said.

The band had a score of 69 in the first round and a score of 66 in finals.

“I believe the score we had was very well deserved, ” senior, Andrea Gonzalez said.

In order to improve, the band looked at the judges’ comments to help with the next competition.
