With a 7-8 record in district play, the baseball team closes their season tonight against the PSJA Bears.

 “ It has been an up and down season,” senior Brandon Torres said. “We were on and then the next day we were off.”

Despite the challenges during the season, Torres was glad to be able to play.

“I’d been wanting to play since freshman year,” Torres said.

As sophomore Andel Saenz reflects on the season, he is looking forward to next year.

“The most difficult thing was losing a lot of close games that we should have won. It was really tough,” Saenz said. “I’m just worried about next year now.”
