As tradition has it after the last football game, the seniors walked across the football field at Flores Stadium on November 3rd for the very last time as a high school students.

“It was very emotional knowing I wasn’t going to be playing for the Bobcats anymore,” Johnathan Maldonado said.

Besides Maldonado, who was a football player, other students walked with mixed emotions.

”I participated in the senior walk because I wanted to walk alongside the classmates I have grown up with these past four years,” senior Alyssa Garcia said. “Attending my last high school football game was bittersweet. My friend Itzel and I made senior crowns and matching senior shirts together.”

Garcia and Fernandez weren’t the only ones who dressed especially for this occasion. Other seniors also showcased their senior status with a variety of clothes.

”I made both a senior crown and senior pants to show off my school spirit, “ Fernanda Montalvo said.

The ultimate show of spirit will be at the graduation ceremony where students have traditionally been allowed to decorate their graduation caps.
