On May 11th, the Art department will be hosting an Art exhibit in front of the library. The exhibit will be from 5 to 6 p.m.

There will be about 100 students of all grade levels participating in this exhibit.

“It’s one of the projects that we opened to the public, including our students, and the community. We wanted to showcase that the art department does have visible programs, and it’s just one way to share it with the community,” Art teacher, Mr.Ramirez said.

One student participating in the exhibit is freshman, Lauren Quintanilla.  Quintanilla is working on her painting of a Betta fish out of acrylic paint.

“I feel very good about being in the exhibit because everybody gets to share their art in one event,” Quintanilla said.
