Last month, BPA traveled to Dallas for their state competition.

There were fifty different events in this competition ranging from individual timed tests to team presentations.

“I think we did the best possible presentation we could’ve done,” senior David Silva said. “Obviously there were more qualified students but coming from a small city in Texas, I think we did very good.” Silva’s team received 1st place in the first portion of the exam but received 22nd place in the second proportion.

“I think my students performed well,” BPA sponsor Mrs.Salinas said .“Overall I think it was a very positive experience even though they didn’t advance. I think that we learned from it.”
