The Dramaticats competed at their UIL One-Act Competition on March 22nd bringing home several cast awards.

Senior Vania Hernandez received Best Stage Management. Francisco Rivera received an Honorable Mention Star Cast.

Briana Sanchez received the All-Star Cast Award. Junior Gladys Salazar received Best Tech for Lights.

During this event, the cast went up against five other schools.

“I was really nervous since we were the first ones to go up,” Rivera said.

Sanchez was also nervous but was able to remain calm throughout the performance.

“As we went on I calmed down and gave 110% to my character,” Sanchez said.
