During Spring Break, the Robotics team competed in the Deep Space Challenge in San Antonio. They created a robot that could face off other robots.

“We were ranked 7th place,” senior Maria Gutierrez said. “It was a mix of emotions. Sometimes we felt sad because we didn’t meet certain points and other times happy because we met them.”

Sponsor Mr.Torres felt the team did pretty good.

“We managed to stay up there, so it was pretty good for us,” Torres said.

The team qualified for the semi-final round of the competition.

“As a team, we gave it our best shot,” senior Jose Alvarez said.
