At the beginning of March, the Winter Guard took 1st place at their competition in Austin.

They competed against nine different schools in which only the top three advanced

to finals.

“We placed 1st which meant we automatically advanced to finals,” junior Sarah Cruz said.

There were different performances in this competition.

“One focused on movement and the other focused on movement and our equipment,”

Junio, Leylah Salinas said.

The Winter Guard will have two more competitions over the next month.
