Throughout the month of December, the school library held a holiday themed contest, Holiday in a Box in which thirty four students participated in. cipated in this event

“The event was a annual contest in which we really wanted to impress upon the students how holiday scenes impact literature,” Librarian, Mrs.Mendoza said.

The boxes were judged on creativity and how much thought was put into the project.

“This event brings the students closer together to literature and to encourage reading,” Mendoza said.

The prizes for those who won were a big goody basket, usb, and Bobcat merchandise. The winners of this contest were Ashley Ruiz in first place, Anahi Rios in second place, and Brianna Lazo in third place.
