On October 26th, the National Science Honor Society (N.S.H.S) participated in a festival at the Edinburg Children’s Hospital.

The festival was an annual event they have for the community in order to promote services and say thank you to the community.

“The event is an annual Halloween event they have for the community,” N.S.H.S Sponsor Bernadette Garza said.

For some students like Larami Mireles, it was her first time participating in an event like this one.

“It was my first time doing the event at the hospital,” Mireles said.

Because this event was organized by the hospital, it allowed members of the honor society to interact with persons in the medical field.

“Most of my kids will go into the medical field, so they participated in something related to that,” Garza said.
