The Corridor is a literary magazine that is being sponsored by the National English Honor Society (NEHS). It was long tradition that had got lost during the moving of the schools.

They brought the corridor back to have a place where students can showcase their creative work.

“These days, not much of a student’s individuality has been showcased the way it should be, and we hope that by providing an option for people to put their works out there, then the bridge between academics and creativity can be restored,” said Senior, Alicia Garza

Not only does the Corridor consist of literature pieces but it also contains art pieces and photos of thing that means something to someone. Therefore it has prose, poetry, short stories, art, photos, and more.

“You can submit poetry, perhaps a short story, anything that’s creative, but especially artwork that maybe relates to something that’s submitted or just your own photographs you taken because you appreciated the moment,” said NEHS co-sponsor, Mrs. Amanda Iglesias-Ramos.

With the Corridor being back someone like Mrs. Iglesias Ramos is hoping for students to be excited to put their original pieces in the Corridor.

“I’m hoping a lot of students will be excited and be motivated to share the other talents we don’t see at school,” said Mrs. Iglesias-Ramos.
